Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 3rd February 2025.

OTM cattle again sold at an improved rate with demand for all classes being fierce. Competition is King. Beef cows averaged 243.9p/kg to 338p/kg from JA & PJ Wyllie, Newmains and £2133 from DG McClanachan, Millhill. Dairy cows averaged 197.4p/kg to 304p/kg from R Ritchie & Co, Fardingjames, and to £1886 from AW Currie & Son, Barndennoch.
