Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 7th July 2025.

OTMs again met a competitive trade with buyers actively seeking greater numbers. Luing bull from Mundell, Lawesknowe sold to £3156.50 and 295p/kg. Beef cows to £2778.75 and 325p/kg from Dodd, Boreland of Southwick.

Dairy cows to £2172.50 from Graham, Hillend and to 292p/kg from Currie, Barndennoch. Prime Cattle to 420p/kg for Limousin cross heifer from Lockhart, Fauldingcleugh to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
