C&D Auctions Ltd held their Christmas Show of Prime Cattle and OTMs in Dumfries on Monday December 8th 2025.

The Prime Cattle show was in the capable hands of Mr M Helliwell who found his Champion from regular consignor Jardine, Yett with a stylish Limousin cross Heifer which sold to Annan Butchers R Johnstone & Sons at 550p/kg (£3245).

A strong ringside of active buyers present with trade reflecting the show on offer. Big percentage of leaner types forward with fleshed cows maintaining recent values.
