C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 20th January 2025.

130 forward: 12 active buyers ensured competitive bidding for all shapes and sizes. Beef OTMs averaged 235.3p/kg selling to 335p/kg rom JB Paterson & Co, Hartbush and to £242.75 from E Murray & Son, Conheath for a Limousin cross. Dairy OTMs averaged 176.8p/kg to 245p/kg from AW Currie & Son, Barndennoch and to £2103.70 from E Murray & Son, Conheath.

Prime Cattle much dearer selling to 382p/kg and 372p/kg from J Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan and S Gilvear, Stirling.
