C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM & Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 29th September 2025.

More ringside buyers in attendance with well fleshed cows easily sold. Beef cows to 370p/kg from Herries Farms, Lantonside and to £2773 from Fitsimmon, Tregallon to average 262.99p/kg. Dairy cows to 280p/kg and to £2338 from Gibson, Bush of Killylour to average 206.28p/kg. Bulls to 270p/kg from MacKellar, Ardacheranmor and to £2230 from McRae, Grassfield to average 206.28p/kg. Prime cattle to 432p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
