Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 31st March 2025.

OTMs met a strong trade with 10 active buyers competing for all classes. Beef cows averaged 278.3p/kg to 345p/kg from Wilson, Marwhirn and £2616.25 from Bell, Cormaddie. Dairy cows averaged 242.01p/kg to 345p/kg from McDougal, Heathfield and £2394.40 from Currie, Barndennoch. Bulls averaged 264.78p/kg to 285p/kg and £2565 from Carskiey Partners, Argyll. Prime cattle to 440p/kg from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butcher, Annan.
