Dumfries OTM & Prime Cattle Report – 04 May 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle at Dumfries. A strong ringside of buyers were in attendance actively seeking all classes of cattle.

Beef Cows average 284.42p/kg to 332p/kg and to £2573 from Morton, Grennan.

Dairy Cows average 215.04p/kg to 265p/kg and to £1775.50 from Gibb, Auchencrieff.

Bulls average 302.5p/kg to 315p/kg and to £3622.50 from Robson, Laverock Hall.

Prime Cattle realised 440p/kg for a Limousin cross heifer from Jardine, Yett to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
