Dumfries Prime Sheep Report – 22 July 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries. 911 New Season Lambs; touch easier for all classes as per the National trend. Well fleshed lambs wanted. Selling to 398p/kg from Copewood Farms and to £180 from Bell of Hoddomtown, Douganhill Fam, Hyslop of West Lanegate, SRUC Barony and Wilson of Newmains.

Cast Ewes and Ram numbers tight with all classes being easily sold. More numbers of all Prime Sheep required for next week.
