C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries. Exceptional cropping weather decimated sheep numbers, although the producers making the trip were well rewarded. Sale average 419p/kg (SQQ 418.4p/kg).

Lambs to £185 from Clanachan, Maryholm and to 460p/kg from Grierson, Shambellie Grange.
