C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries.1445 forward; Export weight Lambs easily sold and in demand with two thirds of the sale being heavyweights which distorted sale averages. Lambs sold to £170 from Duncanson of Marchbank and Laird of East Polquhirter and to 393p/kg from McNay, Little Fenwick.

436 forward; A good show of Ewes and Rams forward which were a good trade start to finish.
