Dumfries Primestock Report

C&D Auctions held their weekly sale of prime sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 4th June 2025.

Prime lamb values increased selling to £162 for Suffolk cross from Kennedy, North Cowshaw and to 386p/kg for Texels from Barr, Meikle Kirkland to average 362p/kg. Prime hoggs were a mixed sample selling to £154 for Texels from Sloan, Rigghead. Cast Ewes and Rams met a steadier trade selling to £232 from Templeton, Glenlaugh.
