C&D Auction Marts held their Christmas Show and Sale of Prime Sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 10th December 2025.

20 pairs of lambs were present to the judge Mr T Forster who awarded the Champion rosette to Graham, Hillend with Blue Texels reaching £300 to Mr S Dawkins.

Outwith the show all classes should an improvement in trade  to average 313.38p/kg (SQQ 320.96p/kg).

Cast Ewes and Rams maintained recent values. Rams to £335 from Glenkiln Farms and Ewes to £218 from Ewart, Castle Hill
