C&D Auctions held their weekly sale of prime sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 14th May 2025.
Prime lambs met plenty of interest selling to £157 for Blue Texel from Rae, Wallacetown and to 397.3p from Sloan, Backburn. More lambs required as buyers switch from hoggs. Mixed offering of hoggs sold to £167 for Texels from Grierson, Shambellie Grange. Cast Ewes and Rams met plenty of competition selling to £275 for Texel ewe from Grierson, Shambellie.
