C&D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Store Lambs and Prime Sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 22nd October 2025.

Prime Lambs maintained recent levels with flesh wanted with Lightweights scarce. Lambs sold to £170 from Edgar, Ballinnie and to 342p/kg from Quigley, Craigielands Hill. Cast Ewes and Rams were a poorer show week on week.

316 Lambs (39.1-45.5kg) averaged 301.12p/kg and topped at 319p/kg from Bell, Hoddomtown and Peden, Tara
