C&D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Store Lambs and Prime Sheep in Dumfries on Wednesday 26th November 2025.

200 Store Lambs; Mixed offering sold easily. Lambs sold to £125 from Townfoot

Texel – £125 Townfoot, £120 Sandilands
Cheviot – £98 Courstein
North Country Cheviot – £94 Hillhead
Cross – £90 Gillenbie

Prime Lambs sold at improved rates for all classes to average 318.6p/kg (SQQ 323.5p/kg). Blue Texel lambs realised £199 from Graham, Hillend. Cast Ewes and Rams were a great trade with a fine show forward.
