C&D Auction Marts concluded their Prime Sheep Sales of the year in Dumfries on Monday 29th December 2025.

Prime Lambs finished 2025 on a pleasing trade with all classes meeting a brisk trade. SQQ 331.1p/kg, sale average 324.5p/kg. The Hiddleston Brothers, Ruairi, Fergus and Lochy from Park Farm led the day at £184 with Texel Lambs. Cast Ewes and Rams easily sold, selling to £238 from Hunt, Bushcroft.
