Dumfries Store and Breeding Sheep Report

C&D Auctions held their annual sale of cast rams, ewes and store lambs in Dumfries on Friday 10th January 2025.

Store lambs were a marvellous trade for all classes selling to £153 for Suffolk lambs from Glenkiln Farms, Bettyknowes.

The annual cast ram sale met a big demand selling to £245 for Beltex from W&J Jardine, Newbigging.

Cast ewes were easily sold with Texels selling at £210 from A&E Hyslop, Maryfield.
