C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 4th August 2025.
Big ringside of active buyers in attendance seeking all breeds, ages and size. Bullocks averaged 403.5p/kg topped at 466.7p/kg from McClanachan, Oxgang and to £2140 from McRae, Grassfield. Heifers averaged 403.42p/kg topped at 448p/kg from Quigley, Craigielands and to £2130 from Ramsay, High Auchneel. Bulls averaged 268.71p/kg topped at 272.3p/kg and to £1280 from Bell, North Bowerhouses
