Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report
C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 6th January 2025.
250 forward, a huge demand for all classes with buyers desperate to refill sheds. Angus bullocks reached £1960 from J Carruthers, Woodhall with Simmental bullocks from C&J McBryde, Lochbank making 360.5p/kg. Heifers topped at £1750 for Angus from J Peden, Tara with Limousin heifers consigned by G&GW Mair, Meikleholm to 353.8p/kg. Bulls sold to £1650 for 8 month old Simmentals from JM & J Goldie, Newbie Mains.
