Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of store cattle in Dumfries with 450 forward on Monday 14th April 2025.

No shortage of demand for all classes with another ringside of active buyers in attendance. A&F Baillie, Low Glasnick sold British Blue cross Bullocks at £2580 with Limousin Bullocks from J&J Graham, Midtown realising 503.2p/kg. Heifers from J Nelson, Seafield to £2180 with British Blue cross and to 486.5p/kg for Limousin cross Heifers from Herries Farms. Bulls sold to £1680 or 431.3p/kg for Limousin from B Reid, Rashgill.
