Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of 380 store cattle in Dumfries on Monday 20th January 2025.

A positive full ringside of buyers were in a buying mood with rates easily surpassing sellers expectations. Limousin cross bullocks topped at £2100 from FR Henderson & Son, Kirkbride with White Shorthorn bullocks selling at 404.2p/kg from Gartnagrenach Farms, Argyll. Heifers from JA Fingland, Garmartin made £1880 for Limousin cross and to 360p/kg from WL Millar, Ryes.
