C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 29th September 2025.

500 forward, all classes maintained recent values, with more younger dairy cross cattle forward. Bullocks to 545.8p/kg from KMB Farmers, Ardlamy and to £2460 with Simmental from Somerville, Larglea to average 407.93p/kg. Heifers to 469.1p/kg with British Blues from Baillie, Low Glasnick and to £2320 with Limousin Jackson, Newbarn to average 387.94p/kg. Bulls to 354.7p with Herefords from KMB Farmers, Ardlamy and to £2100 with Beef Shorthorn from Thomson, Pilmuir to average 327.6p/kg.
