Dumfries Store Cattle Report – 20 April 2026

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 519 Store Cattle at Dumfries. An active ringside of buyers in attendance with trade for younger grazing sorts every bit as dear. Forward stores slightly easier. A sweet pen of Limousin cross Friesian heifers topped at £2500 from Marshall, Brownrigg and to 490.6p/kg from MacDonald, Drumyeonmore. Burgess, The Bush sold Limousin cross bullocks at £2300 with Simmental cross realising 575p/kg from Jackson, Pole.

Bullocks average 401p/kg to 575p/kg and to £2300.

Heifers average 393p/kg to 490.6p/kg and to £2500.

Bulls average 404.5p/kg to 482.4p/kg and to £1910.
