Dumfries Store Sheep Report – 21 August 2026

C&D Auctions held their opening sale of Store Sheep in Dumfries. 606 lambs were presented to a strong local representation of buying power. Prices were strong from start to finish with no drops in prices with obvious circumstances going on. £138 was achieved by MacKintosh, Kirkton of Kingoldrum for a pen of 6 Beltex Lambs. Rorison, Clonrae consigned a pen of 40 Texel cross Lambs achieving £123 comfortably. Hunt, Bushcroft was up to £116 for a pen of 51 Texel cross Lambs also. Cheviot Labs in high demand topping at £114 from Weir, Dressertland for a pen of 40 lambs. Have full confidence selling in Dumfries.
