Full ringside of Buyers in attendance actively seeking cows. Trade upheld recent rates for a plainer offering forward. Beef cows to 332p/kg from McKie, High Threave and McClanachan, Oxgang and to £2522.25 from McKie, High Threave to average 284.46p/kg. Dairy cows to 305p/kg from Sloan, Bruntshields and to £2464.50 from Sloan, Kirktonfield to average 231.77p/kg. Bulls to 372p/kg and to £2306.40 from Mundell, Lawesknowe to average 303.68p/kg.
Prime cattle to 440p/kg from Jardine, Yett to Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan and to £2487.50 from McKune, Townhead.
