C&D Auction Marts had forward an entry of 6,780
sheep comprising of 224 Spring Lambs, 4,256 hoggs and 2,301 cast ewes &
rams at their weekly sale at Longtown Mart on Thursday 22nd May
2025

PRIME LAMBS

A larger show of spring lambs forward, with in-spec
lambs in high demand and out of spec heavy lambs seeing a slight resistance. Please
keep in touch with our auctioneers who will be advise on when best to market
your spring lambs.

A slightly smaller show of hoggs on offer with a very
mixed show forward once again, less then quarter of the sale being ideal export
weights. Customers are advised to keep selling as the season nears the
final curtain. Please do not hesitate to contact our auctioneers.
