Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

Auction Marts had forward 5,707 store lambs, feeding ewes and cast rams at
their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 4th November 2025.
A slightly
smaller show of store sheep forward on the week met a blistering trade with
buyers travelling from up and down the country on the hunt for numbers. All
classes of store lambs up £4 on the week. Many more needed each week to fulfil
demand.
Top price of
the day goes to a pen of Beltex cross lambs from P Winter, Rose Lane Farm
realising £164.
