Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction
Marts had forward 5,746 store lambs, feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly
sale at Longtown on Tuesday 7th October 2025.

Short term
lambs in short supply and long-term lambs jump another gear. All classes highly
bid for with new faces appearing at ring side every week. Topping the sale were
3 fantastic Texel cross lambs from Archbank farming realising £150.

A massive Thank
you to Harry Askwith, Low Mown Meadows Farm for travelling up and judging the
lowland show of store lambs.
