Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts held their opening sale of Store Sheep at Longtown on Tuesday 15th July 2025.

A good show of store lambs attracted a full ring of buyers, including several from a distance. Strong lambs if anything would be scarce on the day, an overall average of £116 which was £25 up on the year. Many more could have been sold to vendors advantage considering the many buyers that were present

Store lambs top at £160 for a tremendous Beltex cross lamb from K White & Partners, Morwood.

Topping the day was a pair of Cheviot Mule ewes making £162 from White, Carrawbrough.
