Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report
C&D Auction Marts had forward 3,197 store lambs, feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 16th September 2025.
Short keep lambs in strong demand with more numbers needed each week to fulfil buyers demands, likewise the long-term lamb trade rises as new faces gather at ring side wanting numbers. Topping the sale was a pen of Suffolk cross lambs realising £140 from D & N Hunter, Weak Side Farm.
