Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts had forward 6,905 store lambs, feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 18th November 2025.

A similar show of store lambs forward with all classes in high demand matching last weeks bonanza. Long term lambs in very strong demand with purchasers travelling up and down the  country looking for numbers.

Top price of the day goes to a Texel tup lamb from J Anderson & Partners, Rowanburnfoot realising  £155.  A thank you must go to John and Family for their continuous support here at Longtown Mart for over the years, as the last consignment of sheep went under the hammer today from Rowanburnfoot.
