Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Reports
C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 2,020 store hoggs,
feeding ewes and cast rams at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday
1st April 2025.
Store hoggs keep on coming with a larger show forward (1,818)
dearer again on the week with a plainer show on offer. Topping the sale was a
fantastic Park Cheviot ewe hogg from C Maclarty, The Homestead, Realising £175.
Stronger end of hoggs regularly sold away between £135 to £150.
