C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Breeding sheep, Store hoggs and Feeding sheep at Longtown on Tuesday 12th May 2026.

A large entry of 831 lives of mostly older ewes with lambs forward. Met a keen enquiry with trade surpassing all local centres. Hoggs & lambs to a top at  £168 for returning vendor, Messrs Ramsay, Dockray Hall. Older ewes selling to £168 from Messrs Stephenson, West Millhills.
