C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of 800 Breeding Sheep at Longtown on Tuesday 26th May 2026

A great show of 800 ewes & hoggs with lambs at foot was forward. With several new customers round the ringside. A stronger trade was witnessed. All looking for sheep as the grass jumps in the heat.

Topping at £185 per life for a Blue Texel ewe and lamb from  Seat Hill, many more could be sold to advantage every week.
