C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 1776 store lambs and feeding ewes at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 14th July 2026.

Opening sale of store lambs saw three times the lambs forward on last year and up £12 on the year. A large offering of long term running lambs regularly selling between £110 to £125. Short term lambs in very strong demand with a Suffolk cross lamb from Gibson Farming, Cut Thorn Farm realising £170.  Whole sale average of £128.
