Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auction Marts held their final 2023 sale of OTM cattle on Monday 18th December 2023.

Buyers were again very active for all classes with trade easily exceeding seller’s expectations, selling to 212p from G & GW Mair, Meikleholm with a Limousin cow. Dairy cows to 155p from RJ Huston, Branetrigg. 

Next sale of OTM cattle will be Monday 8th January 2024. Merry Christmas to you all and we hope to see you in the New Year.

Per Head – Lim - £1,590 Meikleholm. Sim - £1,495 Meikleholm. Hol - £1,155 Bardennoch, £1,146 Branetrigg.

Per Kilo – Lim – 212p Meikleholm. Sim – 178p Meikleholm. Hol – 155p Branetrigg, 154p, 150p Barndennoch, 148p Barnbarroch.
