C&D Auctions Ltd held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 9th June 2025.
Another strong trade with buyers actively seeking cattle. Beef cows to £2850.75 from Wyllie, Newmains and to 325p/kg from Nicholson, Bombie. Dairy cows to £2537.50 from Murray, Conheath and to 318p/kg from Kincaid, Slacks. Bulls to £2827.50 and 290p/kg from Henderson, Kirkbride.
Prime cattle reached 442p/kg for a British Blue Heifer from Lockhart, Faulding Cleugh to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers, Annan.
