Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their spring show and sale of store cattle in Dumfries on Monday 6th April 2020, which included 100 organic cattle.

Organic cattle met a big demand.

Bullocks to 291.7p/kg and £1150 Woolford. Sale average 245.8p/kg.

Heifers to 282.1p/kg Woolford and £970 Dumfries House. Sale average 230p/kg.

Non organic cattle also sold at rates beyond sellers expectations.

Bullocks to 239.7p/kg Cormaddie and £1090 High Auchneel. Sale average 216.3p/kg.

Heifers to 229p/kg Newmains and £1040 Low Glasnick. Sale average 208.3p/kg.
