Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their Annual Spring Sale of Bulling Heifers with 229 forward on Friday 8th May 2020.

A marvellous show of cattle was presented to a full ringside of social distancing buyers with trade brisk for mainly 1st cross dairy.

Best quality Limousin x heifers were in big demand.

Selling to £1500 for a pen of 5 from J. Muir and Son, Cleughbrae others to £1300 Burnside, £1300 (10) Cleughbrae, £1280 (3) Burnside, £1250 (3) Ryemuir, £1200 Mid Locharwoods, £1200 (3) Burnside.
