Dumfries Store Cattle Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 18th October 2021, along with the Annual Sale of Spring Born Calves, where 800 were forward.

Despite rising feed costs, trade for all classes remains pleasing as a full ringside of competitive buyers were in attendance.

A feature of the sale was the 70 British Blue x Bullocks (16m) from Low Glasnick, Kirkcowan selling to £1280, to average £1179.

Spring Born Calves: Buyers were in a more cautious mood.
