Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C & D Auctions held their Annual Sale of Beef Breeding females in Dumfries on Monday 29th May 2023.

210 cattle forward – Cattle, continue to sell with ease, with buyers actively seeking all shapes and sizes. 80 yearling cattle from the Arygll Peninsula were forward, with Limousin x bullocks selling to 388p/kg from Ellary Estates and Angus bullocks attaining £1,155 Cara View. Bullocks to £1,655 for Charolais x from H. Graham, Hillhead, with Charolais heifers realising £1,460 from B. Ramsay, High Auchneel.
