Longtown Machinery Sale

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their March sale of Tractors, Machinery, Implements & Small Tools on Monday 11th March 2019. Included in the sale were 2 farm dispersals along with a massive collection of quality items. An enormous crowd of both local and distant buyers were present with buyers from as far as Shetland, Isle of Man and a strong Irish presence.

The sale was topped at £15,600 for a very well maintained Zetor Proxima 75 Tractor with loader from Messrs Newton, Selbsytown, who also sold a Kubota Mini Digger at £8,500 and a Lely Welger Baler at £5,600, surpassing all expections.

Messrs Wilson, New Farm, Beattock has forward a large consignment of mostly sheep and cattle equipment which was well maintained and again all lots sold well above vendors expectations to a top of £3,500 for a Honda TRX 420 Quad Bike and £1,700 for an IAE Chieftain Cattle Crush.
