Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc had forward a smaller show of 72 store cattle at their fortnightly sale on Tuesday 10th June 2014.

Fewer cattle forward due to the time of year, trade was slightly easier on the fortnight but in line with other centres this week.

Top price to £880 (x3) and £870 (x2) for Limousin heifers shown by Messrs M.L. & L.B. Bell, Winterhope.
