Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc had their Special January sale at Longtown on Tuesday 20th January 2015.

A catalogue entry of 315 store cattle was presented to a packed ringside of regular and new buyers, resulting in a flying trade for all classes of cattle, very competitive with other centres.  The younger smarter types were especially good to sell.  All credit must be given to the vendor’s for presenting a tremendous show of stock, putting Longtown on the map for buyers seeking quality.
