Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 64 store cattle on Tuesday 25th April 2017.

A small mixed entry of store cattle, with mainly grazing cattle on offer saw trade very dear with a full ringside of buyers all keen for cattle.

The sale topped at £1,040 twice, firstly for a Charolais bullock sold by Shankbridge End Farms then for an Angus bullock from first time customer J R Jackson & Son, Cushag.

British Blue bullocks sold to £1,020 also from Cushag, and Charolais heifers to £925 from M P Tattersal, Enzieholm.
