Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their special sale of 305 store cattle on Tuesday 21^st January 2020.  

A marvelous entry of store cattle was forward to a full ringside of buyers all keen for cattle, ensuring a great trade for all classes. Averages report trade up £100 on the year for more cattle sold, with all vendors going home delighted with their days trading at Longtown.

The sale topped at £1,300 for a great Limousin bullock shown by BW & L Stagg, Longrow, Canonbie with heifers to £1,250 for a smart Limousin from N Calvert & Son, Greensburn, Brampton. British Blue bulls sold to £1,000 from Reed & Hill, Lingey Field, Hexham.
