Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Limited held their fortnightly sale of store cattle sale on Tuesday 13th April 2021.

A great entry of cattle were forward with all classes being in demand and meeting a marvellous trade. The sale topped at £1,280 for a British Blue bullock from G & A Lockhart, Underwoodhouse, Kirkpatrick Fleming, who also sold a Beef Shorthorn heifer at £1,185.  Angus bullocks topped at £1,245 from E & DE Horn, Slack House, Gilsland.

A tremendous run of Charolais heifers from J & P Routledge, Netherton, Brampton topped at £1,270 for a pen of four, with others at £1,265 (x3), £1,250 (x2) and £1,220 (x3).
