Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart plc had forward 946 head of ewes with lambs at foot at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday 28th April 2015.

A much larger quality entry were forward to a packed ring of buyers all keen to purchase sheep. More younger aged ewes forward selling at high rates with the lambs on offer being a lot stronger than previous weeks, many more could have been sold to advantage.
