Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart plc had forward 482 head of ewes with lambs at foot, also store hoggs at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday 5th May 2015.

A smaller show due to inclement weather conditions were forward to a large ringside of buyers.  Trade once again maintained high rates and many more could be sold to advantage.  Please advise entries early for the Annual Show and Sale of hoggs next Tuesday.
