Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report
C&D Auction Marts Limited had forward an excellent show of 3,047 store lambs and feeding ewes at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday 13th December 2016, which were forward to a packed ring of buyers. More distant men present resulted in all classes being considerably sharper on the week. Many more could be sold to advantage. The sale topped at £92 for a Beltex from Haithwaite, sold on behalf of the Bewcastle Hunt, and followed at £88 from the same home.
